Meet MidMeds
MidMeds’ fully trained engineers can test and calibrate all your clinical and medical equipment ensuring that the running of your surgery is not affected. A major benefit of regular checks is that this should increase the working lifetime of your equipment, as well as lower any maintenance costs during its lifetime.
Calibration Service
MidMeds offer a nationwide testing and calibration service, whereby their fully trained and experienced engineers will service all of your medical equipment.
Upon completion, MidMeds’ engineer will produce a ‘Certification of Calibration and Testing’ document. The document will provide proof that your practice is conforming to the nGMS contract requirements regarding diagnostic equipment.
In addition, you will meet CQC requirements by ensuring your equipment is accurate, properly maintained, suitable for use and safe for patient and staff.
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Service
MidMeds PAT service involves the examination of your electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use. PAT testing is an important part of any health and safety policy. It is the responsibility of employers to ensure that reasonable steps are taken to minimise the potential risks associated with portable appliances.
